我去過菲律賓，總體來(lái)講這是一個(gè)較落后經(jīng)濟(jì)不發(fā)達(dá)的國(guó)家。但是貧富差距還不小，有錢人也還能很滋潤(rùn)。
要注意，菲律賓雖然是社會(huì)主義國(guó)家，但它設(shè)有賭場(chǎng)妓院等娛樂場(chǎng)所。而且由于經(jīng)濟(jì)條件不好，馬尼拉這種中心地段都會(huì)會(huì)有很多孩子做乞丐。
所以這位同學(xué)去了一定要先做好心理準(zhǔn)備，如果同學(xué)是女孩子，盡量少出入娛樂城所，比較不安全也比較不衛(wèi)生。如果是男孩子，更不應(yīng)該去那種地方。與人交往的事情到?jīng)]有什么禁忌，講英語(yǔ)是通用的。

Philippine cuisine has evolved over several centuries from its Malayo-Polynesian origins to become a mixed cuisine with many Hispanic, Chinese, American, and other Asian influences that have been adapted to local ingredients and the Filipino palate to create distinctively Filipino dishes. Dishes range from the very simple, like a meal of fried salted fish and rice, to the elaborate, such as the paellas and cocidos created for fiestas. Philippine culture is a combination of Eastern and Western cultures. The Philippines exhibits aspects found in other Asian countries with a Malay heritage, yet its culture also displays a significant amount of Spanish and American influences. Traditional festivities known as barrio fiestas (district festivals) to commemorate the feast days of patron saints are common. The Moriones Festival and Sinulog Festival are a couple of the most well-known. These community celebrations are times for feasting, music, and dancing. Some traditions, however, are changing or gradually being forgotten due to modernization. The Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company has been lauded for preserving many of the various traditional folk dances found throughout the Philippines.
